Transmission

"Transmission" is a tribute to the wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. Each work highlights threatened and endangered endemic animals of Washington state, focusing on species found across its diverse ecosystems. Found throughout their habitats these animals speak through small antique radios sending out quiet pleas and messages. The radios act as vessels for voices we often ignore, fragile signals reminding us to listen to the natural world. Their transmissions ask us to tune in before the silence grows permanent.
